Delicatessen

The titles for this film are woven into the mise-en-scene which keeps the flow of the opening title sequence smooth. The camera pans along the mise-en-scene crediting each personnel on a piece of mise-en-scene relative to their role. The whole setting, including the music, sets the film up for a french style massacre film. The colour scheme gives it a more post-war feel. The intro works well to set up the film as a surreal massacre thriller. The biggest part of society to rate this film was male but within that male aged 35-40, this film clearly appeals to that audience by its world cinema style and set up as an adult film.
